Job boards, communities and scholarships?<\/p>\n
Most of these resources will provide at least one of these services.<\/p>\n

The communities around these job boards are also invaluable. You will find very active Slack, Whatsapp or Discord communities where people will share:<\/p>\n

– local and online events<\/p>\n
– reading recommendations to keep you informed<\/p>\n
– more jobs or short-term jobs<\/p>\n
– zoom workshops<\/p>\n
– open source projects<\/p>\n
– experiences to get a job in the climate<\/p>\n
– and much more…<\/p>\n
Participate to be the first to hear about new jobs and be informed when you get your first interview.<\/p>\n
Most require you to fill out a short form to explain why you are joining. Once you’re in, you’ll find me online, so feel free to search for a “Thomas Harvey” and say “hello” \ud83d\udc4b<\/p>\n
Scholarships<\/p>\n
Some of these communities offer \u201cscholarships\u201d or \u201caccelerators\u201d where they offer courses (for a price) to help you move toward a climate career.<\/p>\n
